Simple knit and purl stitches create a subtly textured surface, updating this classic sweater coat. The long lean lines are complemented by the broken rib edgings and bold collar. In finished bust sizes 35.75, 39.5, 42.75, 46, 49.75" (finished length 28.5, 29, 29.5, 30, 30.5"), it uses 1133, 1236, 1339, 1442, 1545 yards of bulky weight (12-14 st/4") yarn - works out to 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 balls of elann.com Peruvian Highland Bulky. Bri knit the sample in a 39.5" finished bust size (shown above) and found that she had very little yarn left over and she recommends purchasing an extra ball of yarn to ensure sufficient yarn is available to complete the garment.
