MATERIALS:
- 4 balls of elann.com Silken Kydd. - One 24 inch 5mm (US 8) circular needle - 1465 size 6/0 seed beads: square holed clear with silver foil lining, (beads may be purchased at your local bead store, we also recommend Fire Mountain Gems as an online source for beads)

GAUGE AFTER BLOCKING: (correct gauge is not essential for this project) Approximately 24 stitches = 4 in 22 rows = 4 in
PATTERN NOTES: Always wash and block (pin out) your lace swatch before measuring gauge!
pb = place bead on stitch and then knit st
(a very fine crochet hook (0.60mm size) can be used to thread the bead on the stitch)
CHART: (Every row is shown, work first row from right to left, work second row from left to right, continue as set.)

PATTERN:
Border: Using working yarn,cast on 93 stitches loosely, using the knitted cast on. Row 2, 4, 6 - WS: *K1, pb* rep bet *'s until one st is left, k1
Row 3, 5, 7 - RS: knit Row 8 - WS: k3, p87, k3
Begin Chart: - work 14 repeats of entire chart - then work rows 1-10 of chart
Border: Rows 355, 357, 359, 361 - RS: knit Row 356 - WS: knit Rows 358, 360 - WS: rep row 2 Row 362 - RS: bind off loosely in this manner: [k1, pb, sl sts back on left needle, ssk], *k1, sl sts back on left needle, ssk, pb, sl sts back on left needle, ssk* rep bet *s to last st, k1, sl sts back on left needle, ssk and fasten off.
Finishing: Weave in ends. Thoroughly wet and pin out piece to dry, using blocking wires.
Abbreviations:
K = knit, P = purl, pb = place bead on stitch and then knit st, sl = slip, SSK = slip next two stitches, one at a time, to right needle as follows: slip the first stitch knitwise and the second one purlwise. Insert tip of left needle into fronts of these stitches, from left to right. Knit them together, st = stitch.
