MATERIALS:
- 11 (12, 13, 15, 16) balls of Adrienne Vittadini Nicole
- 3.75mm (US 5) knitting needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 3.75mm (US 5) circular needle, 32"
- 4.00mm (US F) crochet hook
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
- One 0.75" Button

GAUGE:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4" in Pattern St #l1.
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE

Note 1: Body is worked in one piece to underarms. Sleeves are worked separately and attached to body. Yoke is worked in one piece:

Note 2: When counting sts, do not include the yos.

K2/P2 RIB (mult of 4 sts plus 2):
Row 1 (WS): P2, *k2, p2; rep from *.
Row 2 (RS): K2, *p2, k2; rep from *.
Rep rows 1-2 for K2/P2 Rib.


BODY:
With circular needle, cast on 182 (206, 230, 254, 278) sts. Do not join, work back and forth.
Work K2/P2 Rib for 2 rows.
Est Pat (WS): SI 1, work row 1 of Chart Pat #1 to last st, p1.
Next row (RS): SI 1, work row 2 of Chart Pat #1 to last st, k1.
Cont in pat as est, slipping first st of every row and work until piece measures approx. 5.75 (6, 6.25, 6.25, 6.5)", ending with row 4 or 8 of Pat.
Next (dec) row (WS): SI 1, k3, *p6, k2, k2tog, k2; rep from *, end p6, k3, p1. 168 (190, 212, 234, 256) sts. Cont to row 2 of Chart Pat #3, repeating rows 1-8 for pat. Work until piece measures 9.75 (10, 10.25, 10.25, 10.5)" f rom beg, end RS.
Next (inc) row (WS): SI 1, k3, *p6, k3, M1, k2; rep from *, end p6, k3, p1. 182 (206, 230, 254, 278) sts. Cont to row 2 of Chart Pat #1, repeating rows 1-8 for pat.
Work even until piece measures 10 (10.25, 11, 11.25, 12.25)" from beg, end WS.
Front neck shaping (RS): SI 1, p2tog, work to last 3 sts, p2togtbl, p1 . Rep front neck decs every 6th row 13 (14, 14, 15, 16) times more AND AT THE SAME TIME, when piece measures 15.5 (16, 16.5, 17, 17.5)", end RS and split for underarms.
Place markers each side of center 90 (102, 114, 126, 138) sts.
Split: Work to 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) sts before first marker, bind off 6 (6, 6, 8, 8) sts, work to 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) sts before second marker, bind off 6 (6, 6, 8, 8) sts, complete row. Do not break yarn. Set aside.

SLEEVES:
Cast on 78 (78, 78, 90, 90) sts. Work K2/P2 Rib for 2 rows, inc 2 (2, 2, 1, 1) st(s) evenly spaced on last row. 80 (80, 80, 91, 91) sts.
Keeping 1 st each side in St st for sel, work center 78 (78, 78, 89, 89) sts in Chart Pat #2 and work until piece measures 20.75 (21.5, 22.25, 23, 23.5)", end WS.
Bind off 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Place rem 74 (74, 74, 83, 83) sts on holder.

YOKE:
Return to body and with attached yarn, work across right front, pm, work across 74 (74, 74, 83, 83) sts of first sleeve, pm, work across 84 (96, 108, 118, 130) back sts, pm, work across 74 (74, 74, 83, 83) sts from second sleeve, pm, work across left front. Working back and forth and keeping body and sleeve pats as est, work WS row.
Remember to cont front neck shaping as described.
Next (dec) row (RS): *Work to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k2, ssk; rep from * 3 times, complete row.
Next (dec) row (WS): *Work to 3 sts before marker, p2tog-tbl, k2, p2tog; rep from * 3 times, complete row. Rep decs every row 5 (5, 9, 13, 11) times more, then work decs every RS row 23 (25, 24, 24, 28) times more. Bind off rem 50 (56, 56, 60, 66) sts.

FINISHING:
Sew sleeve seams. With crochet hook, work 1 row of slipped st evenly around front and neck opening.
Sew button to left front where desired.
Button loop: With crochet hook, attach to right front opposite button and work a chain long enough for button loop. Attach to front.


Stitch Glossary:
K1-b: Knit into back loop.
M1: lnsert LH needle, from front to back, into strand between st just worked and next st, k this strand through back loop.
SSK: SI 2 sts knitwise, one at a time, to RH needle; insert LH needle into fronts of these 2 sts and k them tog.
S3K: SI 3 sts knitwise, one at a time, to RH needle; insert LH needle into fronts of these 3 sts and k them tog.
SI1-k1-psso: Slip 1 st, k1, pass the slipped st over the k st.
SI1-k2tog-psso: Slip 1 st, k2tog, pass the slipped st over the k st.
Single Crochet (sc): lnsert hook into work, wrap yarn over hook and draw the yarn through work, wrap yarn around hook again and draw yarn through both loops on hook.
Double Crochet: Wrap yarn around hook, insert hook into work, wrap yarn over hook and draw the yarn through work, wrap yarn around hook and draw yarn through first 2 loops on hook, wrap yarn around hook and draw yarn through last 2 loops on hook.
dc2tog: [Wrap yarn around hook, insert hook into next st, wrap yarn over hook and draw the yarn through work, wrap yarn around hook and draw yarn through 2 loops] 2 times, wrap yarn around hook and pull through all loops on hook.
